Ringmasters for dummies

Ok so due to extreme boredom and annoyance of constantly answering the same questions I decided to wipe up some class guides. These will include: equipment to wear, when to change them, what awakenings to get and of course BUILDS.

This is my Ringmaster version

I will here be focusing on the aoe side only due to a 1v1 Ringmaster would simply be a Billposter with no beneficial second class armor.

Now before we start a few things you should notice. The Assist class and higher classes (Billposter and Ringmaster) has some troubles with skills. You will have to relog every time you place skill points for them to activate. If not you will not be able to add them.

Now we start out as a little level 15 assist and right here I will advice you to start out with a full str build.

Now there is not beneficial armor at this point of time so simply stay with what you have and grab any stick (I know a knuckle would probably be a slight bit faster, but stick killing looks to damn awesome) and slap away.

Now level 30.

Here comes a set which greatly benefits our 1v1 build
Sayram/Talin
Def+47, INT+5, FP Consumption-15%, MP Consumption-15%, Crit Rate+10%

Now I might as well point out there is no stick benefitting 1v1ing so either change them every level or just stick with what you have.

Keep going till you hit level 60

Now let’s take a look at what we know about the Ringmaster.
This is built up as the support class in FlyFF and however useless that might be here it still gets a kick ass aoe skill. Merkaba Hanzelrusha. Also adding the assist self buff prevention and you have some really easy aoeing.

Now we will be continuing our full str build quite a while longer so stick with the you already have

However I will advice you to grab the
Guardian stick
+3 int
+15% hp

This wont be very beneficial right now however the higher damage is good and it will benefit you once you start aoeing

Now keep going till

Level 75.

I will advice you bring this set
Paxt/Pact
Def+47, MP+15%, INT+10

However this won’t benefit you a lot yet but it will help when you soon start aoeing.

Level 80

Now here is where we start aoeing
Make sure you have these skills maxed at this point
Ringmaster:
Merkaba Hanzelrusha – your primary attack (this attack is pulse based and has a 10 sec cooldown)

Assist:
Prevention – fully heals you once your hp goes under 10%

Now we need a new build.
I will advice a 100sta buffed rest int build with your stats at this point. Then add 1 sta and 1int every level form this point in time

Now how do you aoe with an RM

What I do is I find a nice big spawn. Cast prevention. Stand in the middle of it and click merkaba. Then wait 10 seconds for the cooldown and watch the 4 pulses damage the mobs. Then click Merkaba again and wait 10 seconds while it runs through the cooldown again. Continue till they are all dead. Recast prevention every time mobs activate it.

(Notice: Merkaba’s damage inceases very little by adding int so getting awesome damage can take you quite a while.)

Here is a pic of my Ringmaster to give you an idea about the skill list

Added (2009-05-14, 4:06 Pm)
---------------------------------------------
Now here is where we change to Paxt/Pact.

Keep levelling till you 105

Here we make a big change in equipment.
First our set
Remingster/Rimyth
Def+15%, Ranged Atk Block+15%, Short Atk Block+15%, Add HP+15%

This is simply for the defence and hp% since block doesn’t do an exist

As for the weapon we change to the
Legendary Golden Stick
+20 int

More damage is the key to gain damage

Now you might see mobs starting to hurt you quite a bit here and if you want to you can restat to more sta. I will advice 200sta rest int. If you do I will advice rest int till you hit 120

Now at 120
Here we get the most awesome sets.
Revenio
Add HP+20%, Def+22%, Decreasing of Magic Motion Time+30%, INT+10

More HP and def% and some additional int for damage. DmmT (Decreasing of magic motion Time) doesn’t really benefit anything but the cast time of prevention so it isn’t too important.

As for a weapon:
Bloody stick
+15int
+20% DmmT
+20% mp

This is simply for the extra damage the stick gives us.

Now for a build In our master/rebirth levels
I will advice adding sta and int in a 1sta/2int ration every level until no mobs does damage to you.

For Jewellery I will advice
Intelli rings
Demol earring
Gore necklace

If you can get your hands on a donator cape ill advice
Cloack of bravery
+7 to all stats
+15% speed
+10% hp
Nice thing for aoers
If not get any cape adding int and/or sta

Now for awakenings
Simply get int, sta, attack or def

All of these are equally important to an aoe Ringmaster

This concludes my Ringmaster guide
I wish you loads on fun ^^

i think Navil/Neclus is better than Remingster/Rimyth
coz has magic motion time and 15% hp

DmmT does have any effect on Merkaba thus making it useless...

so uselfull effects from Neclus is 15% hp
while from Remingster you gain 15% hp and 15% def

the only thing DmmT does is boost up the general cast time but it has no effect at all on the killing speed
its use would be casting prevention a little faster but its no way near important enough to cast away 15% def

more def = less sta thus more int which = more damage
