i say blade because knights have there weapons in the ground andblades can wield 2 weapons happy

The two best AoE jobs are blade and ranger, because the simple reason DEX !
Both blade's and ranger's AoE damage is based on DEX; and I don't think I'll need to explain what else DEX is for, do I ?

So for example an AoE elementor, psykeeper, knight, .. will need quite alot of stamina to be able to tank mobs (especially when u head to the desert or the volcano, cause the mobs will have a Rage-Mode there and hitting like 6-10K crits in rage. So let's say 120 stamina.

Now; as a blade or ranger, u'd even be able to AoE without any stamina if u can get a set +8 (for the block rate), max cats and perfect block.
But ofcourse no one likes to die, so let's make it 60 stamina instead of the 120 for other AoE jobs.
That means u can put 60 more points into your attack damage !

Then to choose between ranger and blade (only focusin on PvM); i'd choose blade because they wield 2 weapons and only the right-hand wielded one really cares.
So u just buy for example a H Axe for the HP increasment; and then u keep awakening lv1 swords till u get one with some DEX +'d.

Result: one good weapon for the damage; one cheap noob weapon for extra stats.

So yea; AoE blade is the best AoE job in my opinion (if u know how to make one).

Btw; AoE blade with pan barrier is SO much fun to fight Bowjesters with :> !!

Knights are awesome... you can go from AoE to 1v1 instantly, depending on your build, and your equips. They can tank and be dmg dealers. Tough and strong!

Didn't say knights are bad though.
But as a very good aoe knight with enough stamina and linked attack, u'll hit up to 8K aoe.
As a very good aoe blade (my friend on eFlyff used to have one) with enough stamina and linked attack, he hitted 14K AoE damage (talking about bloody set +10 28% attack, bloody axes +10, jewelery +18, .. though)

im full str Knight... I can tank 15 pop's at lvl 105-m. I do 12k to them... Bears I do 18k a hit with AoE.

Uh I've Tested Both and even though haveing a blade was like cutting a hole in my wallet
I found that blades are WAY more effective against a CW than a knight
Crit about 40k with link happy

I would say blade, though it varies a lot in equipment and stuff, if you picked for example a lvl 60 blade and a lvl 60 knight decent equipped (no cards,set or anything), you couldn't know who would win because of the builds, but let's say the blade is a str/dex (1:2) build and the knight a uhmm str/sta build, probably the blade would win since the knight would hit less while the blade even if he does like 50 damage per hit, he would hit the knight while the knight wouldn't be able to hit the blade, but if you picked a lvl 120 blade and lvl 120 knight, it would depend a lot (and i mean it D:) on equip and stuff (you can't say they both suck and don0t have anything, because you know it's a lie <.<)

But in my opinion you just can't say who is better, because with the awakenings... <.< anything is possible xP

I'd go with Blade since it has fast atk and good dodging if u pvp them knights atk slower and have a good chance at missing, but however have very high hp. Its even but in my opinion I would choose Blade.

EDIT: It depends on your build for them though...

though its hard for pvp cause blades dont dodge skills surprised

i think its knight

because the reason why knight is at pvp, blade got few hp. also blade could be killed with one action slot of slash and keenwheel, other part of it is that knight could have a heck of defence lessening the damage blades do.

the hp that could handle the blades damage before the blade could kill the knight. also much better with fighting other jobs like YJ hoppers xD

Though blades do much better at 1 on 1 with giants, Knights do more at pvp and aoe xD

i could like mob 30 cyclops with 150 sta and 28% atk suit they could only do like 0-22 damage with me always.

much better at liching also xD

you could have dex for blocking when you AOE but no stamina means no HP at pvp also means instant kill at PVP a few hits they your lying xD
