We may all not necessarily agree with the custom pets, but it's Dex's server and he can pretty much do as he likes. IF HE WANTED IT TO RAIN THE BLOOD OF CHILDREN UPON THE LAND, THEN BY GOD, IT SHALL RAIN THE BLOOD OF CHILDREN! but we're still working on that...
As for the "sweep this problem under the rug" rule to mute people who complain - I don't agree with and I've already expressed this to Dex. I guess we'll see what happens.
I am open to reading concerns that everyone has - so I'm all for freedom of speech. If I'm able to hear your concerns then I'll be able to, hopefully, do something about it. And I'd like for people to know that I'm actually taking their concerns into consideration when making decisions. So don't feel like all is hopeless.

The arena isn't the whole game and I wish for everyone to be reminded of that. I'm trying to have several events for you guys everyday and you can't pretend you guys don't enjoy it because every time one event is completed, everyone PMs me asking for another. The rewards may be big or small, but its better than standing around in the arena all day getting annoyed. And just to let you guys know, Matt hasn't won any competition events I've hosted so far :/

There is one thing I've noticed though, every time I do an invasion, some people will PM me in the end and say something like "Matt stole the giants" or "This event is just for Matt!"
However, its because only Matt is willing to go in and keep fighting. I've seen him loose levels during an invasion and he kept going in to tank the mobs. Most people just left or stood on the side when things got too hard. And some tried to sneak in and take the drops after doing nothing. Some even waited FOR Matt to go in and tank. So please don't be a bunch of hypocrites. If you aren't willing to sacrifice to gain the greater rewards then you have no right to complain.

Also, instead of complaining, lets hear some suggestions guys. Besides getting rid of the custom pets, what would you like to see happen? What kind of events do you wish would happen more often? What changes would you like?

That's just BULLSHIT. Sorry to say Hades, but that's not correct. Most people stay out the arena during an invasion cause Matt will kill them. And if Matt decides to kill everyone during an invasion, of course all mobs be on him, there are no players left in the arena. Makes sence to me, doesn't it? And that's why other players wait outside until the "big" Matt is done and try to loot the drops. Also makes sence to me.

I've no suggestions atm, i know the only solution is to defeat Matt(duh), or wait until someone shoots him in war. But because so many people are afraid of him and join his guild so he can shove money and donation items up in their asses and they'll be strong. I'm just waiting on the players that won't join Matt's guild and dare to fight him. Then i will form a guild with them and finally have fun on this server, hopefully.

Ahh just one last thing.. I also talked to dex and agreed it was rather unfair and I suggested him to add blessing for pets in the NPC to buy with penya so that non-donators can at least obtain 1/3/5/7/9 pets without donating. I believe I told him quite a few times but I suppose that was a no-go. (not that anyone would donate to get blessings anyways since you can just get the 9/9/9/9/9 probably cheaper in the long run) But maybe it was one of those things he would add if people would vote for the server more and get us in the top 3 . So quit blaming everything on me just because I get bored and kill everyone in arena.

a pet in my opinion is more like a booster to the character. yes its expensive, but thats just the way dex made it. complaining to him wont make it cheaper. youre still able to kill ppl with perfect pet. <br /> would have bought one myself but its just a "waste" of money. i donate to satisfy my need AND to support the server, and later being annoyed because its not that cheap to donate.

But it's sad to see that another person doesn't understand my text and the comments, like i said before read my text. Your stucture of arguments is based on little parts of my text, please read the full text and try to understand it.

1 I don't want it cheaper, i want to get rid of them. I said they're expensive to show that not many people will actually buy them and it's unfair.
And if you would call it a booster, Dex should sell statpoints to players too, also a booster.
