well photoshop is paying.. but maybe there are some version free, anyway i use macromedia fireworks is easier to use and free just type in google u will find all in google ^^

I prefer GIMP over Photoshop. Much simpler than Photoshop and Fireworks but it pays off just the same. Unless the person has had over 10 years of experience with Photoshop. Then I find GIMP can't compare to some of the pieces of work they make.

But I don't think we have any of those people on this forum. :P

Its basically like Photoshop. Has some nice features too it. If you go to this site: http://www.gimptalk.com/

They give you probably the best Gimp Signature Making tutorials and on the planet renders forum they have some there too. Its all about practice, I can do some ok stuff on Gimp but I am considering switching over to PS because its my 4th year on gimp and I want to get into the more advanced and realistic stuff.

And just search Gimp on Google and you can find a download for it.
