well i know hades doesnt care about upgraders in flaris but thir excuse was using 'i know GM's' as their excuse

That can be taken in two ways from my perspective:

1. They're bluffing.

2. They know someone from another private server who's a GM there and is threatening to bring that GM here to mess around with our private servers.

Actually, that's more like one way: bluffs. No one messes around with Fly for Hero; especially with Dex and Hades around.

In any case, ignore these asses. When they are caught by a GM ingame, they'll be screwed if they don't cooperate =)

ok ok, heres my official say on this subject:
Upgrading in Flaris does NOT cause lag. Just WALKING sends more information to the server than clicking on a sunstone/moonstone. I have even upgraded in Flaris for 30 minutes or so on countless occasions and there was never lag during that time. The only lag I can see being caused by upgrading would be graphical lag - and if your computer can't even handle the flicker of the words "Failure" or "Success" then you need to promptly trash your PC or get rid of windows vista ;p

This no upgrading rule has been something of a pain in the butt when people would just flood the chatbox saying "don't upgrade" and PM me over it. I also miss the times when people just sat around the bank upgrading, hanging out and chatting T_T those were back in the day before xat.

i still think this should be put in place, atleast that way even if it doesnt cause lag theres not a crapload of players spamming

'go to the arena' and even shuts those ppl up in chat saying " 'enter name of flaris upgrader here' is upgrading in flaris, come ban them"

I love it when ppl pull crap like that. "I know someone who has power, so gtfo me" lol. Actually, I never knew upgrading didn't cause lag, but I didn't spam when someone was doing it either. Still, if someone's attitude is "GTFO or I'm gonna tell on you", I'd probably start annoying them for my own sick entertainment >:3

^^ i dual log and it causes immence stress on my graphic card so i just say it causes lag, no harm in that, im not lying but im also not telling the complete truth, still gets the job dont and the people that seem to thing a GM is their best frend because they talked to them once get exposed and end up getting their ass kicked by that GM to proove a point.
