Very new to a private server

HI, this is my first private sever to Flyff.

I went through an installation guide that says i DON'T need the official version of Flyff, so does that mean i uninstall V.12? and just install the V.3 from the site?
I also found a guide that says i overwrite V.12 with the V.3, which guide is the correct one?

OK now if you download all the original flyff uninstall from you pc and download the patcher V3, install and run it and you have all to enter to the server thats only you need to do wink
