Patcher not Patching

Everytime I run the patcher, it appears to be patching, but next time I load, I have to load the patch all over again. I suspect that for some reason, the patch isn't sticking. Right now, I'm having to download a 16,980 (approx.) Kb patch everytime I run the game, which is taking about 5 minutes each time.

I'm running Windows Vista (32-bit), I've tried running the patcher in Administrator mode but that didn't help either, I don't think. the game works fine once I get into it, as far as I can tell (although I just tried to look at some kind of syringe thing in the cash shop seller and the game crashed, so..).

Anyway, is there an alternate way to patch until this gets fixed, or a quick fix I can perform myself?

you might be running the shortcut on the desktop... if you run it in the shortcut it will patch again...
besides you can use the auto bypass they made

I'm not running it through the shortcut, just through the main folder I have the program installed into. I'm just worried that I miss installing something important if the patches aren't sticking.
