Character creation problem-Please help

| Okay I'm going to guess that this is server lag, because I've read many posts and found that to be the problems for the character screen. But here is my problem. I login-ok. I connect to server-ok. I get to the character selection screen-ok. I have no characters so I need to create one, I click create-not okay. It sits there for about 8 seconds and then the screen acts like I closed it. Are there any clues as to how to remedy this problem? Unless its server lag XD in which case I'll wait. But if you know what this is I'd appreciate the advice.

| this is one i personally haven't figured out - i haven't heard of too many people having this problem.
I think at one point i heard something like you're game or computer cannot load up the skin textures or the hair or something of the character creation screen and causes it to close. Im not 100% sure, i don't even know if its true...but i believe thats what i heard at some point.
my suggestion is to completely uninstall the game, and delete everything flyff related then follow the guide i am currently making to the tits, and will post in a little bit.

| I have had this problem before my self. While this could result from different issues, one main issue it stems from is lack of the proper files.
Please make sure you have installed a clean version of eflyff11, then please patch with the FlyFHpatcher.
You cannot use the same files you've used for other servers (which is usually the case for this problem).
If that doesn't work, try setting the graphics to low from the patcher. Also, try teleporting your newly made character to another town.

| i have also the same probe aboe.. how can u help me .? i follow all the instruction .. only creting characters are meke me sad.. i cant play .. Y_Y  Added (2009-02-14, 3:27 Am)

| this could be caused by messing around with other private servers as hades said
fully uninstall flyff and delete all files regarding flyff...start from scratch by installing with this guides help:

| Hello Im a new comer to FLYFH and I have thing recurring problem that I cant seem to fix that related to this topic. I've installed everything according to http://flyforhero.ucoz.com/forum/25-946-1 now my problem is that when I click the Start button my computer restarts. I've looked through the forums but was unable to find a solution to my problem, any suggestions? Thanks in advance

| I have tried every possible solution I've found for this problem, and I've reinstalled almost five times now but it STILL crashes when I try to create a character.

| Its the same on my computer, if i start playing i log-in and click on create....
when i want 10 sec. the program is closed! CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY?!

| this thread is very old and lots of things have changed.
just make sure you install properly by following THIS guide.
i have spoken to a few people that have had this problem, and they said a clean reinstall was all that was required to get things working again.
read the guide carefully
