Basically, if you go over the 2 bil penya limit (be it via Inventory or Bank) the counter will reset to 0. That means you have no more penya and that's bad XD
When you accumulate a lot of penya, stop grinding and drop it off at a bank. Once the bank and inventory is close to full, just free up some space and spend it on items and whatnot.
