Help, cant get farther than patcher

Okay, so my comp. I usually play off of broke, so I'm playing off my external h-drive on another comp. and whenever I click start on the patcher it brings up the loading thing on the mouse for like 3 seconds, and then nothing ever happens, i have played on this comp before, i have v14 and have deleted flyff.a...at least i think so.. but anyone have any idea?
