Well erm, i don't want to say much but... Lets say you're going for 1x 9% DCT or higher:
When you awake you got 20 different number of stats to get per 14 stats.
(14 stats and 20 options (str +1, +4, +7, +10, +13, +16, +19, +22, +25, +28, -1, -4, -7, -10, -13, -16, -19, -22, -25, -28, and this for all stats))
And since you're only going for 2 options (+9%DCT or +10%DCT).
That makes the chance to get it:
1/14 (one of the 14 stats) x 0,304/100 (0,294 % + 0.010 %(chances to get +9% DCT or higher) = 0,304) = 0,304/280
So the chance you get 9% DCT or higher is:
280 / 0,304 = 921,05
That's 1 out of every 921 awakes = 0,00108% chance to get it.
To awake 921 pieces will cost you 921 * 100.000 penya = 92.100.000 penya (= 92mil)
BUUUUUUUT, that's only the chance to get 1x 8% DCT, Matt wants 18% DCT or higher
Well, you got 1/3 chance you get 2 awaking slots
0,304/280 x 1/3 = 0,304/840
So the chance you get 18% DCT or higher is:
840 / 0,304 = 2763,15
That's 1 out of every 2762 awakes = 0,00036% chance to get it.
To awake 2763 pieces will cost you 2763 * 100.000 penya = 2.763.100.000 penya (= 2.7bil)
Well, i gotta face it, a v15 set is 30.000 dpoints = about 3bil (depends on who's selling). So it's actually cheaper to try to awake it, unless you belive in bad-luck / karma and other things that might let you think you're not getting any positive-randomness (aka: luck) in your life.
Btw, i timed the awaking time, it takes about 5 seconds before the scroll is done awakening the item. So lets say it takes you 2 seconds to look if the awaking is good, re-doubleclick the awaking scroll, drag your mouse to the next shield then double click the shield. That's 7 seconds each awaking.
You have to awake 2763 times, 7 seconds * 2763 times = 19341 seconds = 322,35 minutes = 5,3725 = almost 5 and a half hour.
(Thats without the time you'll spend on selling/dropping the bad awaked shields and re-buying clean ones)
Conclusion:
If you want to farm 2.763.100.000 penya (2.7bil) then spend almost 5 and a half hour on awaking, you should have one
I can already feel your hand hurt from all the dragging of your mouse
