this problem has been happening ALOT latly not sure if its the new server or what, everyone ive helped change the IP have had to reinstall

Alex, you may want to include the suggestion to do a complete re-installation of the game after changing the IP address in your guide. Chances are, there'll be a lot more people with similar issues.
